Mill is an independent local news service operated by the HARG Association. We aim to publish reporting that is helpful, authoritative, real and good.
We make reasonable efforts to check information before publication, use reliable sources and distinguish fact from opinion, allegation or speculation. However, local news can develop quickly, sources can be incomplete, and honest mistakes can happen.
We cannot guarantee that every article will always be complete, perfectly accurate or fully up to date. Information may change after publication, and some reporting may rely on the best evidence available at the time.
Where appropriate, we may update articles as new information becomes available. We may also correct errors, add clarifications or include responses from people and organisations mentioned in our coverage.
If you believe something published by Mill is inaccurate, misleading, incomplete or unfair, please email corrections@mill.org.uk.
Please include:
- A link to the article
- A clear explanation of the issue
- The correction or clarification you are requesting
- Any supporting evidence or reliable sources
We will review correction requests in good faith. We do not guarantee that every request will result in a change, but we will consider credible evidence and make corrections where appropriate.
Minor spelling, grammar or formatting changes may be made without a correction notice. Significant factual corrections should be clearly noted on the relevant article.
Mill does its best to publish accurate and responsible local journalism. We welcome readers helping us keep the record clear.
